Jamshedpur: On the joyous occasion of Christmas, the city’s popular figure and ardent fan of actress Madhuri Dixit, Pappu Sardar, transformed into Santa Claus, spreading smiles. Late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, he toured the city on a beautifully decorated scooter, advocating for a cleaner environment and compassion toward others.
Dressed as Santa, Pappu Sardar emphasized the importance of cleanliness not only for personal health but also for environmental conservation. His decorated scooter added charm to his mission as he visited Jubilee Park, Loyola School, Beldih Church, Golmuri Church, Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee office, Basant Cinema Chowk, Sakchi roundabout, Palang Market turn, and the main roads of Sakchi and Bistupur.
During his journey, Pappu Sardar distributed various gifts, including cakes, chocolates, sweets, pens, pencils, caps, and toys. From children to the elderly, everyone was delighted to receive presents from Santa Claus. Carrying a bell in one hand and a bag full of gifts in the other, Santa Pappu danced, rang the bell, and distributed happiness across the city.
Residents flocked to click pictures, shake hands, and take selfies with Santa. His infectious energy and thoughtful gifts brought joy to all corners of Jamshedpur.
While sharing his message, Pappu Sardar reminded people of the significance of cleanliness. He stated, “By dressing as Santa Claus and distributing sweets and gifts, I aim to spread joy and awareness. The love and appreciation from the people have been overwhelming.”
