Jamshedpur, May 12: The district administration adopted various modes to make voters aware of their constitutional right to exercise their franchise and the importance of each vote. Various organizations too took on the baton and launched awareness campaigns, both, in urban and rural areas.
Among them was the one man army of Pappu Sardar popularly known as the Madhuri Dixit fan. He took upon himself to spread voters� awareness in several unique ways. He took out a Rath Yatra painted with various slogans along with his scooter that also had the language of his awareness mission. He went out in various disguises to boost the mission of voters� awareness. His campaign commenced on April 9 and continued till May 10.
Naturally, he was elated at the voters� turnout at various booths of the Jamshedpur LS constituency. He said, �It is a matter of joy to participate in the administration�s mission. I was indeed very happy to see the fruits of the awareness drive. I thank and congratulate the voters of Jamshedpur LS constituency for their participation in this Festival of democracy.�
