Jamshedpur, April 11: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said that middlemen can be reined in through IT and targeted people can be directly benefitted with the schemes of his government. To ensure this, all the panchayats of the state will be connected with Internet.
The role of panchayat representatives is crucial here. The CM said it while addressing three day training workshop on e-panchayat at SKIPA. He said that the PM has started Digital India keeping it in view. The people evaluate every work and the public representatives can leave their impression through their work only.
The CM said that we should be aware of the fact that right and duty go abreast. Everyone should do his duty with honesty.
While serving the people we want to ensure accountable, time-bound and transparent governance. The government is completing every announcement in time frame. Any lacuna can be complained on toll free no. 181. The people should be made aware of various schemes.
There should not be any wall between the people and the government. The people are making their developmental scheme with the help of ministers, people’s representatives and officers.
Laying stress on the importance of training, the CM said that this type of training program should be conducted from time to time.
The govt. of Jharkhand is going to conduct training for officers and public representatives.
Padmashree Ashok Bhagat, SKIPA director Sudhir Prasad, IT Secretary Sunil Kr. Burnwal, and DR. C.B.S. Venkatraman of C.I.P. S. were present on this occasion.
