Seraikela: Panchayati Raj Day was celebrated with fervour in Seraikela-Kharsawan on Monday. A programme was organized to mark the occasion at the community building in Seraikela.
Many dignitaries were present during the programme. They included MP of Khunti Ram Tahal Choudhary, MP Kariya Munda, MLA Sadhu Charan Mahato, SDO BP Dubey, Zila Parishad president Shakuntala Mahali and various district administration officials.
In his address, Ram Tahal Choudhary said the people should adopt a favourable approach towards the girl child for their overall development.
Kariya Munda, stressed on working for rural development and weeding out corruption at all levels.
