Jamshedpur, July 17: A meeting of Potka panchayat committee was held at the block office auditorium on Wednesday. The members unanimously demanded arresting of those guilty in various scams.
The meeting was chaired by the block Pramukh Sukurmani Tudu. BDO of Potka Kapil Kumar, Circle Officer Baleshwar Ram, CDPO Shail Bala, BAHO Dr Sanjay Kumar and medical officer in-chage Dr Anita Samant were also present on this occasion. Various local issues were discussed in detail during the meeting. The issue of sale of illicit liquor in the villages was also raised at the meeting.
Panchayat committee member Subodh Kumar Sardar said there was not a single child in Chhota Baglata anganbari centre. Another panchayat committee member Sonoka Mahato raised the issue of bicycle supply to school kids. Others sought health issues.
Those present at the meeting included Maoj Sinha, Soni Kumari, B Nandi, Jagdish Prasad, Kaushal Jha, BK Mahato, Dukhni Mai Sardar, Urmila Samad and Lakhan Majhi.
