Panchayat buildings should be used for people�s benefit: Choubey

Jamshedpur: Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Social Welfare department, Government of Jharkhand, held a review meeting on Monday through video conferencing. He directed the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Amit Kumar, and other officials concerned to take up 30 to 40 schemes in each panchayat for implementation under the 14th Finance Commission.

Choubey said the Mukhiyas, panchayat sevaks, ward members and all staff of panchayats and Pragya Kendras should open their offices punctually on a daily basis. All panchayat buildings should be utilized fully for the benefit of the people, he said.
District Panchayati Raj Officer Dr Rajnikant Mishra and District Social Welfare Officer Laxmi Bharati were also present at the meeting.
