Karachi, June 22 (IANS) Renowned Pakistani qawwali singer Amjad Sabri was shot dead here on Wednesday when unknown gunmen fired at his car, the media reported.
The attack took place in Liaquatabad area, Dawn reported.
Sabri and an associate were in the car when the gunmen opened fire, critically injuring him. The two were rushed to a hospital where Sabri succumbed to his injuries.
