Jamshedpur, Apr 21: Taking into view shortage of isolation beds in hospitals, East Singhbhum district administration has started paid isolation facility for Covid cases.
East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar shared this information from his tweeter handle and two private hotels have agreed to give their facility for the service.
The facility was started at L N International Hotel in Dimna Chowk, Mango and Hotel Golden Palace in Sakchi.
While Hotel L N International will charge per single bed Rs 1344 per day (including GST) and along with meals three times a day Rs 2016 (including GST). While Golden Palace situated in Aam Bagan near Zilla Parishad office in Sakchi will charge for single bed Rs 1568 per day (including GST). Hotel L N International will be giving 15 rooms for this service while Golden Palace will provide five rooms.
The deputy commissioner has advised that those Covid patients who do not have proper separate rooms and washrooms for isolation at their house can use the hotel facility. Significantly, during the first wave of Covid last year several hotels were used as paid isolation facility and few hotels were developed as Covid care center wherein doctors used to visit and treat patients too.
