Jamshedpur, Jan 16: As the nation gears up for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024, the prestigious entrance test for renowned engineering colleges, preparations are underway for the two-phase examination. The first phase, scheduled from January 24 to February 1, will be conducted online. Paper 2A and Paper 2B for B.Arch and B.Planning are set for the second shift on January 24, while Paper 1 for BE and B.Tech will be held on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1. This session will witness around 7,000 Kolhan students, a significant increase from previous years, participating in the examination. The National Testing Agency has reduced the number of examination centers, and the second phase is slated for April 1 to 15, with form submission between February and March.
The National Testing Agency has not disclosed the specific examination centers to maintain confidentiality, and candidates will receive their admit cards two days before the exam, including details about the examination center. The city slip can be accessed on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Simultaneously, the Sainik School entrance examination, managed by the National Testing Agency, is scheduled for January 28, covering 186 cities for classes 6th and 9th.
Furthermore, the NEET entrance exam for medical colleges is set for May 5, with registration in April. The pen-paper mode exam will also have a center in Jamshedpur, and results are expected between June 10 and 15. Candidates appearing in the 12th board examination are eligible to participate. Finally, the UGC NET exam is scheduled for June 10 to 21, with specific days allocated for different subjects. Application dates will be announced soon.
