Ghatshila, March 19: Chief guest and JMM supremo Dishom Guru Shibu Soren while speaking at the Baha Bonga worship organized by the Gad Committee at the Surda Crossing Maidan under Ghatshila Block, observed, �Our identity is Jal, Jungle, Zameen. Jharkhand�s culture and tradition are priceless. The youth of our committee should unite and protect our tradition. If our natural heritage of water, jungles and land are protected the future of adivasis and native settlers will remain safe. We are nature worshippers and by organizing Baha Bonga worship, we have once again showed our love and respect for nature.�

The Dishom Guru exhorted the youth to give up and avoid addiction. �Then only will development take place,� he said.

The meeting was also addressed by JMM legislators Champai Soren and Kunal Shadangi, former MLA Ram Das Soren and others.

Earlier, the guests performed worship at the Jaher Gad and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the people. Others present on the occasion included former minister Jadunath Baskey, Shankar Hembram, Baghray Mandi, Sagen Purty, Committee president Virendra Nath Hansda and secretary Narendra Tudu.
