Jamshedpur, March 19: History is witness to the fact that whenever the Hindu community had wanted to unite, there has been a Jaichand who with vested, base and nefarious political interests has tried to drive a wedge in the process of unity, emphasized Hindu Utsav Samiti president Ravi Prakash Singh at a meeting of the organization at Deen Dayal Bhawan in Sakchi.
He further said that there had been no change in the Hindu Utsav Samiti Committee and neither has the Hindu New Year celebratory procession route been changed. Ravi Prakash Singh informed that the procession would commence from the Burmamines Durga Puja Maidan, pass through Golmuri market and proceed through RD Tata Technical Training Institute road to Mango and culminate at Netaji Subhas Maidan in Sakchi. Arti of Bharat Mata will be performed as concluding ceremony, he stated.
Hundreds of youth at the meeting, referring to a news item in some newspapers that stated a new committee of executives of Hindu Utsav Samiti had been formed, dubbed the news as false and stated that it was a political conspiracy meant to mislead the Hindu community.
Hindu Jagran Manch president Amit Sharma stated at the meeting that Ravi Prakash Singh was the unequivocal president of Hindu Utsav Samiti and those who were trying to form a parallel platform through media releases were enemies of the Hindus and not the protectors of the community.
The preparations for the celebration of Hindu New Year in urban and rural areas were reviewed at the meeting and important responsibilities were divided among the organizations executives.
Those present at the meeting included Satish Kumar Singh, Amit Sharma, Samresh Singh, Vinay Kumar Singh, Sanjay, Hareram Singh, Sailesh Gupta, Lalchand, Vir Kumar, Vivek Pandey, Raj Mishra, Lalit Rao, Varun Singh, Appu Tiwary and members of the Mukhi, Brahmin and Bramharshi communities.
