Orientation program for parents at Sheyn International

Jamshedpur, May 3: Sheyn International School organised orientation programme for parents on Wednesday.

The aim was to familiarize the parents with the curriculum,  rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.

The parents were briefed about the rules and regulations of the school, an overview of the curriculum and the varied co-scholastic activities to assure the parents that the curriculum involved self-directed learning activities to give vent to the creative talent and energies of the children.

Pushpa Bhalla , Principal (administration) in her address to the gathering laid special emphasis on effective communication between the teachers and parents. Rama Srinivas, Principal (Academic) gave guidelines on effective parenting and suggested measures to nurture a child with love and care. Keya Adak, Vice Principal and Simran Saggu Head mistress sought support and suggestion from the parents so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development.

The programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children. The orientation programme served as an important interface for the parents and the school authorities to connect and plan for the current academic session.
