Jamshedpur, Nov. 25:BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Dinesh Kumar termed the opposition parties protest over amendments in CNT/SPT acts as �encroachment in development� of Jharkhand and adivasis.
Opposition parties led by JMM, JVM, Congress had called for Jharkhand bandh on Friday, November 25, over the amendments in land act by Raghubar Das led BJP government in the state.
District President said, the adivasis of the region have been exploited for years and have been used as vote bank by the tribal leaders and now they are not able digest the development efforts of Raghubar government.
�People who had been in power and deprived the state of development are now shouting against the amendments in land acts which would help in development of the state�, said Kumar, adding, �Those leaders whose political shops will be shut by the amendments in CNT/SPT acts are on the streets to shut down the state�.
Dinesh Kumar urged the administration to identify the bandh supporters who forcefully shut the shops, schools and institutions and take action against them.
