Jamshedpur, October 28: National Convener of Rashtriya Sanatan Sikh Sabha, Advocate Kulwinder Singh, has extended congratulations to Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami on his re-election as head of the Sikh Parliament Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. Singh praised Dhami’s victory, emphasizing it as a testament to his commendable work for the Sikh community’s welfare.
Kulwinder Singh highlighted that the election was conducted through a secret ballot, with Dhami receiving 102 votes out of 142, while former head Bibi Jagir Kaur received just 33. Singh acknowledged a wider, orchestrated effort domestically and internationally to discredit the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee’s leadership, with political figures like BJP’s Sardar RP Singh even speculating on a Christian influence within the committee.
Singh further stated that anti-national forces attempting to tarnish India’s image by using Sikh issues have been countered effectively. He expressed confidence that Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami would lead the Panth in unity, ensuring its prosperity and strengthening its voice with both central and state governments to address its challenges.
