Jamshedpur, Dec 17: A case of violence between two factions of students came to light at Jamshedpur Workers College, Mango, on Tuesday. A student was reportedly wounded in the incident after being allegedly stabbed by rivals, sources said.
Sources said the incident was triggered by an eve-teasing incident on the college campus. Irked by alleged harassment of few college girls, a group of college students confronted a group of outsiders. The confrontation soon turned violent and a student was reportedly stabbed by outsiders.
Mango police reached the college and sent the injured student to MGM Hospital. A police force was deployed at the college after the incident. The college administration and eve-teasing victim have registered police complaint in this connection.
