One person dies, another critically injured in Seraikela road mishap

Seraikela, Feb 15:  One persons died and another was critically injured in a road mishap along Seraikela-Chaibasa Main Road near Pampada village under Seraikela thana on Sunday night. 
Tangrani village resident Jiten Gope (30) was crossing the road to reach to his eatery near the petrol pump and got hit by a biker coming from Chaibasa leading to his serious injury while the bike rider identified as Bablu Soy (28), native of Kudarsai village also fell down from the bike and sustained injuries. Police has sent bodh the injured for better treatment to Sadar Hospital but seeing their serious injuries they were referred to MGM Hospital in Sakchi on Monday morning and while being taken to MGM Jiten Gope died on the way. 
The locals met with the dhaba owner for compensation as Jiten was going to work despite his weekly off on Sunday when the mishap took place, The eatery owner has agreed to pay Rs 40,000 as compensation and bear study expense of Jiten’s children till 15 years.
