One person bludgeoned to death in Jamshedpur, absconding nephew suspected killer

Jamshedpur, April 23: The body of 50-year-old Naidu Bagh, who lived near Nirmalnagar Mansa Temple under Sonari police station, was found at his house.

Naidu was killed by hitting him on the head with a stone. The relatives came to know about this when they reached home on Sunday morning. They found Naidu’s body lying at home. Police were informed about this.

After getting the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

 Bhoomi Prasad, the sister-in-law of the deceased, told that Naidu’s wife lives with two daughters at her maternal home in Kumharpada in Sonari. Naidu used to live alone at home. He used to work as a driver. When his wife reached home this morning, his body was lying at home. He was killed by hitting his head with a stone.

In the case of Naidu Bagh’s murder, Naidu’s wife Lata Bagh has accused the elder nephew Shyam Bagh of the murder. She told that she had gone to Nirmal Nagar on Friday night. Here she saw her elder nephew along with her husband. Nephew was with her husband on Saturday night as well. It is alleged that the nephew has gone to his village to save himself after committing the murder.

Naidu’s wife says that nephew Shyam Bagh had said that he would get a new house built. He will live on the top floor of the same house. After taking Naidu in a trap, he also used to take care of him and used to give him food too. There is apprehension being expressed that there would have been a dispute between the two over something on late Saturday night. After that Shyam must have been murdered.

The wife makes a living by washing utensils in the neighborhood. Lata told that she has two daughters. One is 8 years old and the other is 12 years old. Naidu Bagh was the driver of the heavy vehicle.

  On Friday she was in Nirmal Nagar with her husband. Due to her ill health, she had gone to her maternal home. The accused is still out of reach of the police. At the same time, the information about the incident has also been given to the elder brother of Naidu Bagh. He will reach the city by late Sunday night. After this, Naidu’s last rites will be performed on Monday.

The family members say that Naidu Bagh has a serious injury on the head. His head was split open. The family members have accused Shyam Bagh of killing him by hitting him on the head with a stone or iron. Relatives say that the elder nephew Shyam Bagh has fled to his in-laws house after committing the murder.
