Ghatsila, June 1: A road accident occurred on National Highway 33 near the Reliance Petrol Pump at Pipla in Ghatsila on Sunday, claiming the life of one person and leaving two others seriously injured.
According to reports, a pickup van rammed into a stationary trailer parked on the roadside, leading to the fatal crash. One person died on the spot, while the two injured were rushed to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur for treatment.
Police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem at MGM, while also managing to clear a traffic jam on the NH following the accident. Investigations were underway.
