Jamshedpur : The bullet-riddled body of Mohammed Maqsood Alam, (35), a resident of Rangaon at Tamar in Ranchi district was found following clash of two gangs of criminals near Ganga Hotel in Galudih along the NH-33 under Galudih police station area.
The police have, however, succeeded to get hold of one criminal belonging to the rival Chowda Raju gang, from the scene of shootouts in Galudih. The arrested criminal has been identified as Dildar Hussain, a resident of Ichagarh block in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The police have recovered the body of Maqsood and sent it to the MGM Medical College mortuary for post-mortem.
Accroding to police, Maqsood was a dreaded criminal and wanted by the police of twin district Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ranchi and Tatanagar GRP in connection with over two dozens of cases of loot, robberies, train dacoity and murder. Dildar is the member of the rival Chowda Raju gang, having its base in Ichagarh.
