Jamshedpur: A 30 year old man, identified as Bilu Lohra, died after being run down by an unidentified speeding vehicle near Raghunathpur village on the Kandra-Chowka road on Wednesday.
His four year old son riding pillion with him was however not hurt. Sources said the deceased was a resident of Ranchi and was coming to Adityapur on motorcycle.
On his way, a speeding vehicle ran into Lohra�s motorcycle.
Police sent the body of the deceased to MGM Hospital for postmortem examination. In another incident, one Bhola Rajwar, resident of Gamharia, was injured after falling from his bike near Usha More at Gamharia.
He was taken to Tata Main Hospital where his condition was reportedly serious.
