Ranchi: A five year old girl was killed in a road accident near Sindri village under Arki police station area in Khunti on Saturday.
The mishap occurred when a passenger vehicle ran over the girl in a bid to overtake another vehicle. The girl was crossing the road when the incident occurred.
Irked villagers blocked the main road for hours and attempted to set the killer vehicle on fire.
