Seraikela, Nov 22: One person died in a collision of two trucks on the Seraikela-Chaibasa main road under Seraikela in the wee hours of Monday. He was identified as Sushant Yadav, a native of Bihar. The driver of the other truck escaped unhurt in the incident, sources said.
According to sources, the mishap occurred when the two trucks rammed into each other near Kuli village. Yadav was stuck in the driver’s cabin and critically injured. He was somehow taken out of the mangled vehicle and taken to Sadar Hospital, Seraikela, where he was declared dead.
Police said they were searching for the other truck driver. They said the incident took place due to recklessness of the drivers.
