Jamshedpur, Feb 20: Patanjali Yuva Bharat conducted a one day Yoga awareness camp at the Upgraded Tangrine Middle School in Potka Block. School Principal Arvind Kumar Tiwari welcomed the Patanjali Yuva Bharat team of instructors.
A total of 75 students of classes 6, 7 and 8 participated in the camp. The participants were explained the nuances of yoga and urged to perform the exercises daily. The one day camp was conducted by the district in-charge of Patanjali Yuva Bharat, Narendra Kumar who informed on the occasion that preparations were on to celebrate the International Yoga Day in a big way this year. “To make the celebrations meaningful and fruitful, 1,275 yoga ambassador teachers have already been trained in the district by the Department of AYUSH and Patanjali Yog Parivar. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure that Yoga programs are held throughout the year in schools so that children do Yoga regularly to ensure that the World Yoga Day does not become a one day event,” Narendra Kumar said. District in-charge of Patanjali Kisan Seva Samiti Bihari Lal, youth yoga instructor Manoj Kumar Srivastava and Youth India worker Rohit Kumar Ojha put in their knowledge, skills and guidance during the one day camp. The Tangrine Upgraded Middle School’s yoga ambassador teachers Rajeev Singh, Amal Kumar Dixit, Rajendra Singh Sardar, Dasmat Murmu and Niranjan Sardar were present during the camp. The vote of thanks was offered by school teacher and yoga ambassador Amal Kumar Dixit.
