Jamshedpur, Feb 12: Police arrested one Mohammad Shahid with a stolen bike near Jubilee Park Gate No. 2 under Bistupur police station area late Saturday night.
Cops said the accused, a resident of Road No. 5, Sankosai, was moving around with the stolen bike. The front and rear registration number plates bore different numbers, evoking suspicion of the on-duty cops who stopped Shahid and arrested him. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed having stolen the bike, cops said.
An FIR has been registered against the accused on the information of ASI Krishna Kumar.
