Odyssey 2015 concludes amid fanfare at LFS

Jamshedpur, August 21: The three-day cultural extravaganza Odyssey 2015 organized by Little Flower School concluded amid fanfare on Friday.

The winners in the junior and senior category walked away with prizes. The festival was a defining platform for the students and artists to showcase their skills and develop their potential. The students showcased their technical and cultural talents.

The event is getting bigger and better with every passing year. The third day of the school fest, Odyssey, has always been a formal affair, a day for declaration of results.

Col .K.J.K. Choudhary, Head-Town Administration, Tata Motors Ltd., who inaugurated the event, was present to give away the prizes as well. The day began with a video presentation of memorable moments of Odyssey 2015.
Results of off-stage as well as on-stage events were declared and the winners were overjoyed to receive their prizes.

The Overall Class Championship (Junior Category) was carried away by Class 7A while Class 10B walked away with the Championship in the Senior Category. Rishika Das was the winner of the Individual Championship in the Junior category; and Ritwick Raj and Pratyansh Chauhan were awarded the trophy in the senior level. The Council Members were also felicitated for the excellent job of organising the event.

After distributing the numerous awards Col .K.J.K. Choudhary congratulated the prize winners and told the participants not to lose heart even if they were unable to secure any position. He also applauded Odyssey for bringing out the hidden talents of the children.

LFS Principal also congratulated the winners and the organizers. Thus, the curtains came down on yet another round of festivities ‘Odyssey 2015’.

It may be noted that the annual fest of Odyssey started in the year 1991 under the watchful guidance of now Vice–Principal of the school Mrs. N Samuel.

For the past 25 years it has been carefully moulded by the moderators initially Mrs. Mishra and now Mrs. Chatrath to help it take its present form.
