Grand Farewell for Vice Principal Ramesh Rai at NTTF’s R.D. Tata Technical Institute

Jamshedpur: A dignified farewell ceremony was organized today at the R.D. Tata Technical Institute auditorium in NTTF to honour Vice Principal Shri Ramesh Rai on the occasion of his superannuation. The event saw a large gathering of teachers, staff, and a significant number of former and current students who came to pay their respects to a leader known for his transformative service.

A Legacy of Academic Excellence

Throughout his distinguished tenure, Ramesh Rai achieved remarkable milestones that have left an indelible mark on the institution. Under his leadership, the institute witnessed an unprecedented improvement in examination results and the successful adoption of modern teaching methodologies. Beyond the classroom, he was a mentor to students, providing career guidance that laid the foundation for their professional success. His role in modernizing the administrative structure and ensuring transparency in institutional governance was also widely acclaimed.

Honors and Tributes

During the ceremony, Principal Preet John, Brij Kishore Singh from Tata Steel Foundation, and Pallavani Chaudhary from the Management Committee honored the retiring Vice Principal with a memento and a shawl. In his address, the Chief Guest noted that while Shri Rai’s presence will be deeply missed, the legacy of inspiration he leaves behind will continue to guide the institute for years to come.

The HODs of the Mechatronics and Computer Departments delivered a powerful farewell speech, noting that Shri Rai created a stress-free learning environment for students. They emphasized his relentless efforts to improve faculty quality and foster growth through research and education, wishing him a peaceful and happy retired life.

Heartfelt Reflections

Staff members Shri Deepak Sarkar and Shri Haresh shared cherished memories of their time working with Shri Rai. In an emotional farewell speech, they thanked the management and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff for making the day truly special. Shri Ramesh Rai concluded the event by expressing his gratitude and sharing a mantra for continuous progress with the students.
