NTTF Annual day: Sunil Bhaskaran bats for Skill India campaign

Jamshedpur, May 12: NTTF RD Tata Technical Education centre, Golmuri, organised the 14th annual day function at Loyola Auditorium on Friday.

Chief guest for the occasion was Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president, Corporate Services, Tata Steel. Addressing the gathering, Bhaskaran said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dreams of a new Indian where technical education and skill development is to play major part and it’s the responsibility of all to make that dream come true and help is development of the nation. He stressed on the need for offering skill training and NTTF is an All-India partner of Skill India project, he added.

Guest of honour were R Ravi Prasad, president, Tata Workers Union, principal Indranil Dasgupta and vice principal Satish Joshi. In his speech, R Ravi Prasad, said, NTTF is like a pillar for the technical education in the city which is not only a matter of pride for Tata Steel but the whole of Jamshedpur.

On the occasion Harish Kumar who provided valuable service to NTTF for ten years was felicitated. The quality circle team �Sparklers� of NTTF comprising of Archana Das, Nidhi Kumari, Annual Mahato and Rachna Kumari who won the gold medal in the International Quality Circle competition in Bangkok were also awarded.

The NTTF team comprising of Bijay Kumar Mahato, Ayush Srivastav, Laxmikant Giri and Honey who won the Par Excellence Award at the national quality circle competition at Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology in Raipur were also felicitated on the annul day.

Muskan Jaggi bagged the best outgoing trainee award. In sports Pioneer won the best championship house. Priya Singh and Sharda Josibko received the best trainer award.

The award for the 100 per cent attendance was won by Monalisa. Earlier the programme was inaugurated by the chief guest were several cultural performances were staged. The programme was hosted by Muskan and Shryoshi while Satish Joshi extended the vote of thanks.
