Jamshedpur, Oct 15: As part of Daan Utsav, an initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, NSS volunteers from Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) visited Nirmal Hriday to spend time with the elderly residents. The students interacted warmly, presented gifts, and inquired about their well-being.
The oldest resident of Nirmal Hriday expressed her blessings for public welfare through prayers and songs, while the NSS volunteers joined in with inspirational songs, creating a joyful atmosphere.
The visit was led by NSS Coordinator Dr. Gloria Purti, along with Dr. Amrita Kumari, Dr. Pushpalata, Dr. Sunita Kumari, Dr. Chhaganlal Agarwal, and enthusiastic NSS volunteers.
