Jamshedpur, July 9: The NSS unit of Karim City College conducted a tree plantation drive under the Van Mahotsav program. The members pledged to plant trees at home, in the college compound, public parks and at their adopted village Kapali. They were also asked to take care of the saplings planted.
The college NSS unit programme officer Dr Anwar Ali gave an inspirational talk to the students on the importance of trees in the realms of clean environment and water conservation. The programme was conducted by Sayad Sajid Parvez.
