Ranchi, April 17: Notification regarding the voting to be held on May 13 will be issued on Thursday.
Nominations for Singhbhum parliamentary seat, Khunti, Lohardaga and Palamu seats will begin on Thursday.
Voting for Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency is going to be held on May 25. Notification for this will be issued on April 29. The date of release of notification is 29th April. At the same time, the last date of nomination has been fixed as May 6, the date of scrutiny as May 7, the last date of withdrawal of nominations is May 9, the date of voting as 25 May.
The district administration has informed all the citizens or voters of East Singhbhum district that, the date of release of notification for Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency by the Election Commission of India has been fixed as April 29.
In the light of the above, it is appealed that the persons who have completed 18 years of age or above on 1st April and are eligible to get their name registered in the voter list, but their name is not registered in the voter list, then they can register their name in the voter list.
To get their name added they can get the form (free of cost) from the BLO or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer or Electoral Registration Officer (in the concerned block or office) of respective polling station, fill it along with the photograph and necessary documents and submit it to the said nominated officer in the office.
