CMs, Governors interact with Amit Shah for 75th celebration of Independence
Ranchi, July 17: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the video conference with Union home minister Amit Shah on Har Ghar Tiranga program as part of celebration of 75years of Independence at his residential office in Ranchi on Sunday afternoon.
Hemant Soren said that that state has started preparations to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence as it is a very happy and historic day. Under this, through the program ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, we are going to do the work of taking the happiness of freedom to every home. Nodal officer has been appointed for how this program reaches every state household from 13 to 15 August. A meeting has been organized on Saturday under the leadership of the Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh. In this, a complete outline related to the program has been prepared.
The Chief Minister said that letters would be sent to the Government of India for the availability of the large number of national flags for this program. He also suggested that the participation of village-level women’s group, Sahiya should be made to connect the common people with this programme. They should also be involved in the work of making the flag so that the people at the village level will be able to get information about it and at the larger level.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah interacting with chief ministers and Governors said that the country is preparing to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence. Under this, the ‘Har-Ghar Tiranga’ program is being organized from August 13 to August 15. Under this, the work of putting the tricolor flag in the homes of all the people with public participation has to be done. Through this program, we will work to inculcate the feeling of pride, self-respect and patriotism towards the country among all the people of the country. This work cannot be done alone. For this, every state, all the people of the state will have to work together. He informed that the state government and general public can buy flags for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program online as well as from the nearest post offices.
For the ‘Har Ghar Jhanda’ program, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy, Governors of all Union Territories, Chief Ministers, Ministers and office bearers of all states participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
