Jamshedpur: The nodal officer for Swaraj Abhiyan, Government of India, Sidheshwar Chakravarty, visited Bodam block on Wednesday and inspected the implementation of various development and welfare schemes. He also handed the benefit of various government schemes to the beneficiaries on this occasion.
The beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dha Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana were present during the programme.
Chakravarty was accompanied by the block development officer, circle officer and other officials of different government departments.
In Bankishol gram panchayat of Dumaria, several counters were set up for the beneficiaries of various government schemes. A public awareness campaign on the seven flagship schemes of the Central government was also launched through nukkad natak under the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.
