Ranchi, Dec. 30: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday said that nobody will be liberated to loot and the government will not comprise with the quality of construction with government funds. Das said it while speaking at the Sidhi Baat program at Soochana Bhawan in Ranchi.
In connection with the rejuvenation of rayati pond at Dulmi Danga village, Hiranpur Block in Pakur, the CM was reported that the Rs. 9,43,200 rejuvenation scheme which was being undertaken by the panchayati raj officer, hardly 1 or 2 lakh rupees has been expensed on it against withdrawal of Rs. 8,86,380 in 9 installments.
The report received from the district also confirms irregularities in the work and according to the measure book, work worth Rs. 5,55,780 has been done. Rs. 3,30,600 has been fictitiously cleared. The Pakur DC said that as the pond was filled up, the inspection committee could not measure the pond. The CM ordered for immediate inspection in this matter.
On the complaint of torture by Mrs. Kimmi Kumari, Committee Development Officer of Ranchi Women Polytechnic against Principal �in-charge Mr. Umesh Kumar and the department being dormant on him, the CM directed the High and Technical Education Secretary to probe and deal the matter strictly.
The CM said that misbehave with the women will not be tolerated. Mr. Kumar is charged with 3 similar activities before also.
On the complaint of not being given handicapped pension by Mr. Rajesh Mandal, a blind man from Jamtara, the CM was told that money has been put in his account.
Regarding complaint of irregularities in purchase of water tank and dustbin by the City council president Mr. Yamuna Prasad, the officers told that the quality of the purchased things is good.
The CM ordered to give Mr. Nayankant Pathak the retirement amount with interest. A complainant from Nirsa raised the matter of foot path shopper & said that the CO in his area demands bribe. On this, the DC reported that the matter is sub-judice with the high court. The CM asked the complainant & the DC to resolve the problem.
4 matters related with water & electricity in Dumka, Giridih & Lohardaga were put before the CM. Some complainants appeared before the CM & told that water could not be supplied due to low voltage & dysfunctional transformers. The CM directed the JBVNL MD Mr. Rahul Purwar to take cognizance of the matter & act immediately.
Against a complaint of fake case on villagers by the watchman of Parihara village from Garhwa, the CM directed to get it probed by a DIG level officer. On the complaint of non- payment of family pension to the nominee of late Mr. Kitti Ravidas of Giridih, the department told the CM that money has been deposited in his bank account yesterday.
Regarding use of below standard materials in the construction of toilets in panchayat buildings by the ex- headman and jal sahia at Bhargaon from 2011-12, the CM directed the DC to probe into the matter himself.
Nilkamal Hansda from Khunti put forth the demand of his father�s pension. He said that his father who retired in 2009, was a professor of Mundari language in Birsa College, and passed away. The CM directed to give pension to his family. The department said that his pension will be started after 4th January.
Regarding non- payment of wages to 31 labourers by BPO & rojgar sevak in Hazaribag, the CM directed the DC to get their wages paid.
On the complaint of retired soldier Mr. Lalji Ram Tiyu regarding loan, the CM told the bank officials to dispose their social responsibilities & help the people stand on their feet and be a part of the mainstream.
On an anonymous complaint of getting enrolled with BPL list and not teaching in the school by a para-teacher-cum- journalist from Chetag village , Balumath in Latehar, the CM told the officers to get his name cut from the BPL list. The district officers told the CM that dismissal order of the para teacher has been sent.
The CM told the officers not to linger any matter & maintain accountability & transparency in their disposal of duty. As committed before the Assembly Election, he is firm in disposal of good governance to the people of the state.
