No vehicle entry in Ranchi on July 17 for Muharram procession

 

Ranchi, July 16: The Muharram festival will be observed on July 17, and processions will be taken out from various Akharas in Ranchi city. In this context, the Ranchi Traffic SP office announced that the movement of private and passenger vehicles would be suspended from 10 AM on July 17 until the end of the procession. Traffic will be diverted as necessary on other routes within the city.

Shaheed Chowk to Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Subhash Chowk towards Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir: Closed for general vehicles. Kachhari Chowk to Shahid Chowk, Albert Ekka Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Chadri Talab towards Albert Ekka Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Plaza Chowk to Albert Ekka Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Purulia Road to Sarjana Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. SN Ganguli Road/Vishnu Gali/Budhiya Gali/Radheshyam Gali to Main Road: Closed for general vehicles. Sujata Chowk towards Main Road: Closed for general vehicles. Near Ul House towards Main Road: Closed for general vehicles. Karbala Chowk to Ratan PP Compound Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Kadru to Main Road via Radisson Blue Hotel: Closed for general vehicles. Commandant Awas Morh to Rajendra Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Mecon Chowk to Rajendra Chowk: Closed for general vehicles. Tulsi Chowk to Ambedkar Chowk: Closed for general vehicles.

These traffic diversions were put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the Muharram processions and the safety of the participants. People in general were advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the traffic regulations.
