Ranchi, Jan. 22: Addressing the villagers at the Kandsaar Panchayat choupal ub Hazaribagh block on Friday, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that there should be no politics with matters relating to the development of the state.
The CM said that the government is going to include schemes prepared by the villagers under Yojana Banao Abhiyan and these schemes should be prepared according to the requirements of the villagers and implemented for the their benefit.
On this occasion, the CM inaugurated Nawonmesh Karyakram (innovation program), under which poor students of government schools will be given pre-engineering and pre-medical coaching.
Laying stress on utilization of available resources to eradicate poverty, Das said that the government is determined on providing proper selection, formation and implementation of schemes and any dereliction will not be tolerated. He said that the schemes should be designed in such a way that Kandsaar could become a modest panchayat of Hazaribag district.
Development of the nation is connected with the development of the state and so small and agro-based industries should be developed on a priority basis. Water should be reserved in check-dams, ponds, lakes and dovas (puddles). It is essential to store water for agriculture purposes. The Union government has implemented Fasal Beema Yojana and gardening has been associated with it, he said.
Emphasizing on educating the children, the CM said that in the process of development, the contributions of girls are indispensable. Hence, we need to ensure that �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� campaign is a huge success. The government is running a campaign for dropout students also, he informed.
Separate toilets for boys and girls and furniture, labs as well as libraries in schools will be ensured by December, 2017. For the development of technical and skilled education, skill development centers are being opened in all the districts. At the same time, mobile vans will be put into service to develop the villages through IT.
The CM said that his government is committed to provide transparent and accountable governance. If works are not completed within the timeframe, salaries of the CO�s/ BDO�s will be deducted. The villagers can lodge any type of complaint on toll free number 181, he said.
On this occasion, the people of the village put forth their demands, responding to which the CM said that the district administration is committed to make Yojana Banao Abhiyan a big success.
