Jamshedpur, Nov 18: Growth of Coronavirus cases are on the decline in Jamshedpur. East Singhbhum district recorded no death on Wednesday, November 18.
16 positives were reported on Wednesday taking the Coronavirus positive tally to 16473. The death toll remained at 367 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on Wednesday.
63 people recovered of the virus on Wednesday taking the total recovery to 15780 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 326. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 127518 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 352765 samples have been collected out of which 339453 have been tested and 322980 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Wednesday reached 1,06,742 as 251 new cases of Covid-19 were detected while 280 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. During the day 3 deaths were reported as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 934.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 2637 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,03,171. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 934.
