Jamshedpur, Dec. 19: No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last twelve days as the death toll remains at 374. Positive cases are on the rise as the active cases have crossed 220 in the district.
On Saturday, East Singhbhum district reported 35 corona positive cases while 29 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17295. 29 people recovered of the virus on Saturday taking the total recovery to 16695 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 226.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 164259 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 444142 samples have been collected out of which 437257 have been tested and 419962 have turned out to be negative.
