Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Jamshedpur on Friday reported zero Covid-19 deaths after a gap of 26 days.
City recorded 219 fresh Covid-19 cases 325 people recovered of the infection in the same period.
New infections on Friday pushed the overall caseload to 66,996.
The death toll remained at 1131 till date, the health bulletin said.
According to East Singhbhum Covid-19 medical bulletin, as many as 325 people have walked out of healthcare facilities aggregating 63739 and leaving 2126 active infections.
The number of samples tested today was at 6835 pushing the cumulative number of specimens examined so far to 2218584 till date.
Jamshedpur’s positivity rate – the number of people testing positive for every 100 tests – was 3.20 percent with the latest addition in cases. 6835 samples were tested on Friday.
The positivity rate came down to 3.02 per cent in Jamshedpur.
The cumulative coronavirus case count stands at 66996 and the death count is now 1131, according to the latest health bulletin.
6835 COVID-19 tests, including 1232 RT-PCR, 5315 RAT and 288 TrueNat were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 833427 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 95.45% while the mortality rate is 1.69%.
So far in Jamshedpur 2225879 samples have been collected out of which 2218584 have been tested and 2151588 have turned out to be negative.
