Jamshedpur: Growth of Coronavirus cases are on the decline in Jamshedpur. No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last four days as the death toll remains at 370. On Tuesday, East Singhbhum district reported 18 corona positive cases while 29 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 16825. The death toll remained at 370 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on December 1.
29 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 16254 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 201.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 143603 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 399955 samples have been collected out of which 382271 have been tested and 365446 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Tuesday reached 1,09,332 as 181 new cases of Covid-19 were detected while 227 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. During the day 5 death were reported as a result of which the overall death count reached 969.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 1965 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,06,398.
