Jamshedpur, Jan. 4: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur�s BOG meeting at New Delhi on 21 and 22 December approved the building of boundary walls at the campus, said Rambabu Kodali, director, NIT Jamshedpur.
He said that I want to complete the boundary wall work within my tenure of 1 year and 7 months. Along with boundary walls, Outer Peripheral Rode (Ring Road) on the four sides will be constructed, street light and drainage system will be put in order.
The total cost will come around Rs 30 crore. The boundary wall which is being constructed on the direction of High Court and with the help of district administration, the demarcation of the land will be done first.
Director further informed that with e-tender, we have received good operators for the Mess and students have till now haven�t complained about the food being provided. Mess committee has always been formed to look after the arrangements.
