Jamshedpur, April 7: Prashant Sharma, a first-year student at NIT Jamshedpur, has garnered attention with his remarkable achievement in robotics. In a remarkable debut, Prashant successfully constructed a combat robot weighing 18 kg, showcasing exceptional engineering prowess.
The highlight of Prashant’s creation lies in its unique ability to overturn opponents, demonstrating a strategic approach to robotic warfare reminiscent of the Pacific. At the core of its remarkable performance is a custom-designed geared motor, meticulously crafted by Prashant for this specific project. This component not only delivered superior torque and speed control but also distinguished Prashant’s robot during its debut at NIT Jamshedpur’s prestigious techno-management festival, Ojas.
Prashant’s robot notably maintained its dominance even against formidable competitors from IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, earning admiration from peers and spectators alike. Expressing gratitude to Souvik Nath, Supreet, Aniket, Ashish, Pallab, Satyam, Ayush, and Amit for their unwavering support, Prashant is now eager to showcase his creation in international competitions.
