Jamshedpur: The area around Sakchi Bazar and Jubilee Park was inspected by Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar regarding the construction of vending zone in the city. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that it is our endeavor to organize the things by creating a vending zone in the city and setting up shops on the roadside in a random manner, giving proper place to the people.
This will allow people to enjoy the food in a clean place as well as spend time in a beautiful environment with family. He said that Tata Steel is currently working on the construction of two vending zones near Jubilee Park and Basant Cinema. With the creation of a vending zone, on one hand, the encroachment of the roads will be relieved, while on the other hand people will be able to taste different types of food at the same place.
The Deputy Commissioner said that there is a culture of street food in Jamshedpur, like other metros, we will promote night culture here too.He said that the construction of the vending zone would be completed in the next 3 months. He said that after the threat of corona infection is over, the vending zone will be expanded as Night Street Food Market. He said that people will be able to enjoy the night culture by coming to the vending zone to be built on the lines of Kolkata and other metros.Also, due to the Vending Zone being near Jubilee Park, maximum number of people will also come here. Special officers of JNAC and representatives of Tata Steel Company were present on this occasion.
