Jamshedpur, July 6: Nibha Mishra took charge as the new president of Rotary club of Jamshedpur West during the installation ceremony held at Beldih Club on Monday.
Gurpreet Bhatia (Ruby) and Narendra Jain were sworn in as Secretary and Treasurer of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West respectively.
Tarun Daga, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd., graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Daga appreciated the numerous areas in which Rotary Club has been providing services to the community, the city and world at large.
For the Rotary year 2022-23 the new District Governor of RID 3250 comprising Bihar and Jharkhand is Sanjeev Thakur and First Lady is Poonam Thakur.
PDG Pratim Banerjee lauded the outgoing team including President Rajesh Kumar and Secretary Neeta Agarwal for a wonderful year and winning more than 40 awards for the club.
On the occasion Board of Directors of the Club were also installed which included Rotarians Neeta Agarwal, Ashok Jha, Rajeev Talwar, Alpana Shukla, Aloknanda Bakshi, Abhijit Mitra, Kamalendu Shukla, Rajesh Kumar, Rajneesh Talwar, Shweta Chand, Sanjeev Sehgal, Mithlesh Jha, Anjani Nidhi, Varsha Gandhi, Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Dr. Monika Uppal and Rishi Chandrani.
The members of the Standing Committee are Rotarians Amitava Bakshi, Rajendra Sachdev, BK Wadera, Dr Amit Mukherjee and Amresh Sinha.
Every year on the first of July a fresh team of office bearers take over the responsibility of running Rotary organisation right from Rotary International President to District Governors to club level officials.
