NHES students celebrate Raksha Bandhan with army personnel

Jamshedpur, Aug 9: Students from the Interact Club and Jyoti Club of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated Raksha Bandhan with soldiers at the Army Cantonment in the Circuit House Area on Saturday. The young participants tied colourful, handmade eco-friendly rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers, accompanied by sweet packets and handwritten letters filled with heartfelt messages.

The gesture aimed to express gratitude for the soldiers’ sacrifices and to bring them festive warmth despite being away from their families. Commanding Officer of the unit expressed his appreciation, saying, “These children remind us of our own families. Their love and blessings give us renewed strength to serve the nation.”
