NHES hosts ‘Shankh Jyoti’ to welcome Goddess Durga

Jamshedpur, Sept. 23: India is a land of unity in diversity where people of different sects, caste and religion live together and celebrate different festivals. Festivals create a sense of cultural unity and brotherhood. Durga Puja is a festival celebrated all over India to mark the victory of good over evil. The Junior Section of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) organised a cultural programme ‘Shankh Jyoti’ on 23rd September, 2017 in the school campus to welcome the Goddess Durga.  A skit on ‘Ramleela’ along with different dance performances was staged by the students of Junior School.  The programme ended with a ‘Band Fusion’ performed by the teachers as well as the students. The programme was conceptualized by the Vice- Principal, Piyusha Ishwar.  The teachers of the Junior School were involved in making the programme a grand success. The event was well appreciated by all.
