New team of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City takes over

Jamshedpur, July 16: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City organised its installation ceremony with Amrita Vakharia taking over as the president along with Secreatry Preeti Khara

The Chief Guest of the evening was SSP Jamshedpur Prabhat Kumar and Guest of Honour Dist Secretary 3250 Rtn.Anju Gandotra.

In presence of all the District officials, Past District Chairman, Club Presidents, secretaries and representatives of different organisation Rtn. AMRITA VAKHARIA was installed RCJ Steel City President for the year 2023-24.

The evening began with National Anthem and Lighting of the lamp.

Shivam Goel introduced new President Amrita Vakharia.Vakharia in her speech put emphasis on working on Mental Health awareness, Eradication of Sickle cell anaemia, Heart in hole & club foot surgeries, community tree Plantations and Sustainable projects for the uplift meant of community around. She urged her Board team and members to work together to make it success.

The Chief Guest addressed the ceremony and congratulated the new team and members for their dedicated and selfless service. 

The theme for the year 2023-24 is “Create Hope in the World” and in keeping that in mind an auspicious Jade plant which symbolises growth, prosperity, health, harmony was gifted to all our guests.

About 5 Past District Governors of Rotary Dist 3250 were Present for the event. Two new members were inducted on the occasion.
