Ranchi: The State Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Kumar said that the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) would be strengthened for which vacant posts would be filled up.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the 135th installation ceremony of JAP-1 Gorgha contingent of Doranda Ranchi. On the occasion the DGP offered floral tributes to the martyrs.
Six armed platoons extended the guard of honor on the occasion. A grand parade was also organized.
