Jamshedpur, Aug 4: Chief Minister�s representative Pawan Agrawal and State Twenty Point Committee member Sanjeev Singh jointly inaugurated a newly-built Jahar Sthan in Sidhgora on Sunday. The project was completed at an expense of Rs 10 lakh by the Urban Development and Housing department on the recommendation of Chief Minister cum Jamshedpur East MLA Raghubar Das.
Addressing the gathering, Agrawal said the state government was doing everything to protect and promote the Adivasis of the state. The government is not only repairing and reconstructing Jahar Sthans but also protecting them by building boundary walls around them, he said.
Agrawal further said there were certain people trying to mislead Adivasis by forcibly converting them. This can not be allowed and tolerated, he said.
