Jamshedpur, Sept 10 : In a significant achievement for the state, Netaji Subhash Medical College & Hospital (NSMCH), Adityapur, has received approval to offer admissions to 100 MBBS seats.
The landmark decision marks a major step toward strengthening medical education and healthcare services in Jharkhand.
The first batch of MBBS students will be admitted in October 2025, with 100 students beginning their journey in medical education.
So far, the hospital has been served by 241 doctors and has successfully conducted 153 surgeries.
The 650-bed hospital is equipped with specialized services in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and ENT.
A fully functional blood bank with a storage capacity of 100 units has also been established.
NSMCH aims to ignite the spirit of public service and medical education, positioning itself as a vital contributor to the healthcare landscape of Jharkhand.
