Netaji jayanti celebrated at Seraikela

Seraikela, Jan 23: 117th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chanda Baose was celebrated with fervor at Pathanmara High School in Seraikela.

Chief Guest for the function was Dy. Development officer of the district, Sangram Besra while District education officer Surendra Nath Ghosh was resent as the guest of honour.

At first students, teachers and officials observed a minute silence for deceased Ex- Dy. CM of
Jharkhand and senior JMM leader Sudhir Mahato.

After that the guests paid floral tributes to Netaji’s portrait and inaugurated the function by lighting a lamp.

Students on the occasion presented a colorful cultural program. Quiz and debates were also held
and their winners were felicitated by the chief guest while students shed light on life and times on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
